Social Soil Privacy Policy¶

This Privacy Policy applies to Social Soil (org.grassecon.socialsoil), published by Grassroots Economics Foundation.
Social Soil is a farming and village-trading game. We designed the app to work without user accounts, advertising, analytics, or collection of personal information.
Information We Collect¶
Social Soil does not collect personal information from users.
The app does not ask for or collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or account login details
- Location data
- Contacts
- Photos, videos, audio recordings, camera data, or microphone data
- Payment information
- Advertising ID or other identifiers for advertising
Local Game Data¶
Social Soil may save game progress information locally on your device, such as:
- High score
- Last score
- Last rank
This information is stored only on your device for gameplay purposes. We do not transmit this local game data to Grassroots Economics Foundation or to third parties.
You can delete this local data by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
Children¶
Social Soil does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us through another channel, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Ads, Analytics, and Third Parties¶
Social Soil does not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs.
The app may include links to external Grassroots Economics web pages. If you open an external website, that website is outside the Social Soil app and may have its own privacy practices.
Permissions¶
The Android version of Social Soil is configured not to request sensitive Android permissions such as location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, calendar, or media access.
Data Sharing¶
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information from Social Soil because the app does not collect personal information.
We may disclose information only if required by applicable law, but Social Soil itself is not designed to collect user data for disclosure.
Data Security¶
Because Social Soil does not transmit personal information to us, there is no server-side user database for the app.
Local game data remains on the user's device and is protected by the device's normal operating system controls.
Data Retention and Deletion¶
Local game data remains on the device until the user clears app storage or uninstalls the app.
Social Soil does not provide user accounts, so there is no app account deletion process.
Changes to This Policy¶
We may update this Privacy Policy if Social Soil changes how it handles data. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised policy at the same public URL used in the Google Play listing.
